Annual Fundraising Campaign

Greetings!

 

We hope you are well and enjoying the great variety of the hit songs, songs you haven't heard in a while, and yes, some of Bob's surprise songs. We enjoy bringing it to you on the air and on the stream.  It would great if we could keep it going for free!  But in reality, we cannot. This is where your help is needed.

 

We have ongoing expenses, like power, FCC licensing fees, Music licensing fees, and maintenance, just to name the big expenses.  Without your continued support, it is hard to keep the stations on the air and streaming.  Yes, we could play commercials, but you, our loyal listeners have enjoyed the music with NO Commercials.  Putting commercials on the air also has its own expenses as well.

 

During the holidays, we suspended the annual fundraising for 2024.  Raisa and all who are involved with the stations want to thank the hundreds of listeners who help Bob's Legacy live on the air and on the stream.  This year we need a head start and will continue fundraising all year round. We tried to meet the goals last year, but the radio station fell short. The Streaming service broke almost even.

 

I have to be honest, if we can’t reach our goals, we will put the station up for sale. If we can't sell the stations, we will then be forced to go off the air and turn in our licenses to the FCC. This will mean the stations will be gone forever.

 

We are not asking for large amounts for you.  Times are tough and we are just asking for what you easily afford. You can also give as many times as you want.  These stations are commercial stations, and we don't have tax deductible status. Your non tax deductible contributions can be sent to:

We are NOT collecting for WJIB since we no longer own the radio station.

 

 

Please note on your contribution what station or stations you are supporting. This is important for us to track and direct the funds to the appropriate station.  Note if your contribution is for WJTO, WLAM, or Bob's Memory Station for the stream.

 

We will tally the contributions and update you regularly on our progress. The updates will be posted here on the Bob's Memory Station Website, and Bobs Memory Station Facebook pages.
